Poem: My Hometown

The minute I placed my foot on the soil of my hometown

It sent me the flashback of memories swiping through my mind

It told me how my mother was busy preparing food which I have not eaten from her hands since a long time

It filled me with the air of easiness that reminded me my father is here I don’t need to worry about small things.

It filled me with naughty giggles and blissful smile, saying my brother is here to pull me back to my childhood

It filled with high spirit, saying, give your restless soul a little rest now that it is home.
